Here at High Mead Community Therapy Farm, we cannot do our work without your continued support.
In the past year, through the fantastic and generous support of local councils, Churches, Patrons, Volunteers members of the public, and donations, we have been able to increase the services we off. We now have a fully equipped 3 station kitchen and are able to offer cookery lessons to our Co-Farmers, we have upgraded the rabbit and guinea pig enclosures, have repaired the horse stables and improved the office.
The Farm shop is flourishing with many regulars opting to buy locally produced food and as demand is increasing, so is our stock. We have a bi-weekly column in the local Stour and Avon magazine.
There are so many projects for 2023 which were started but we ran out of funds and we need to finish them – raised beds for disabled gardeners, new kitchen in the Day Room, disabled path around the farm, insulating the new kitchen, Craft room and Quite rooms, covered decking for the Farm Shop and to finish off the disabled access to the Feed shed. Thank you for reading and any donation that you can afford will make a difference to the Farm.
The Farm shop is open to the public Monday – Saturday 9-4, and we hold regular Open Days when the whole farm is open to the public – this year they are on Sunday 12 March, Sunday 16 July and Sunday 22 October, 10 – 4. We are also having a Spring Country Fayre on Saturday 20 May 2022, 10 – 4, with lots of stalls, entertainment, workshops, food and drink.
