Men’s Sheds at now at High Mead Farm!
What’s on offer?
- Hand Tool maintenance, restoring and sharpening
- Wood crafts to include carving, construction, lathe work, upcycling furniture restoration and personal projects
- Mechanics including repair and restoration
Opening times – Saturday 10 am – 1 pm
Men’s Sheds have use of the Day Room which is warmed by a log burner, has a self-serve kitchenette with tea and coffee and squash. There is also use of our 2 wood workshops. We have plenty of free parking,
It is free to join for men aged 18 and above. Just turn up and introduce yourself!
Each new member will be given a 20 minute induction to explain the dos and don’ts on the farm, fire procedure and health and safety aspects on the farm.
Inclusivity is valued with Men’s Sheds Ferndown, however we are unable to staff or offer support for individuals. Member are required to have full independence and capacity (physically and mentally)
